Irma Update

I will be the radio operator at one of the shelters here in Brevard County during Hurricane Irma. Tomorrow I will packing last minute things and then Friday I will do a double check of my go bag. I will do my best to keep ya’ll informed. Prayers are appreciated.

Hurricane Irma…

Hurricane Irma may impact Florida, for those that follow this blog, I am in Brevard County, which is on the central East coast about 45 minutes south of Kennedy Space Center.  Have your Go Kits/Emergency bags packed.
Gov. Scott declared a State of Emergency for all Florida Counties, to quote him “Florida prepares for the worst but hopes for the best.”  We do not yet know for certain where Irma will track.  I ask your prayers for my state as well as for all of the Gulf States during this hurricane season, we are only at the halfway mark in the season.
