Life is Better with a Cat.

“When a man loves cats, I am his friend and comrade, without further introduction.” – Mark Twain: “An Incident,” Who Is Mark Twain?

Snowie and I are so overjoyed and honored to introduce to you Miss Avery Snow Tatro, who is the latest addition to our family. Avery is 10 weeks old and has found her forever home. I am a cat lover and have been one since I was knee-high to a grasshopper!

Seeing as I work nights at the hospital, Snowie wanted a companion, and I can’t resist a cute kitten and then a cute cat. Also having high blood pressure and fibro it is proven that petting an animal and loving one helps!  So, we rescued this loving kitten, or rightly said she rescued us.

Being rescued by a loving cat is hard to put into words.  I’ve missed having a cat.  I’ve had cats off and on all my life. To say I’m overjoyed is an understatement.

Welcome Home Avery!

  1. Padre Tatro, Eddie & Nicole Snowie, Big congratulations on the arrival of Avery!!!!!!!!!! That you both are in love with Avery there is no doubt from all you said & all the photos! Happy for you both! And thanks for teaching me that Mark Twain was such a “cat person”!!! Earnest Hemmingway too, right? Phil

    1. She’s a beautiful kitten that is for sure! Oh yes Mark Twain loved cats more than most people if I remember right from his autobiography. I think you’re correct about Hemingway.
